Our experience in the top levels of federal agencies informs our thinking when it comes to leading clients’ efforts in government contracting, resolution of regulatory issues, and regulatory establishment. Over the years we have worked with many agency personnel and our understanding of the synergy between federal agencies and the Congress has been key to the success of many long range efforts. As with our efforts on Capitol Hill, our goal is to craft strategies that benefit our clients as well as the agencies.

Strategic Planning and Research for the Federal Community

The Charles Group, LLC is known for its policy expertise, particularly on drug policy, law enforcement, and counter terrorism issues. Select federal agencies whose missions include those issues often look to TCG for assistance with strategic planning and policy research. We leave no stone unturned when conducting in-depth policy studies and bring years of policy experience to bear on agencies' strategic planning processes. Our goal is to provide new thinking and research to inform policy decisions and help agency leaders conceptualize new initiatives and clearly communicate program objectives. Services for the federal community include major studies, assistance with strategic plans, program assessments, federal market analyses, and performance measurement planning and implementation. Recent major studies have been in a number of issue areas, including national security, law enforcement, counter-narcotics and counter-terrorism, and have been performed for institutions and agencies including the National Academy of Sciences, National Research Council, Drug Enforcement Administration, State Department, Defense Department, and National Guard.
